Online Safety

On October 8, 2012, Anthony E. Caputo, 17, of Ypsilanti, a senior at Milan high school, was charged with using a computer to convey a threat and making a false bomb threat. The website he used to make this threat was Facebook. He was charged with 2 felonies. He did not come up with the bond that was set at $5,000. He is currently held custody at the Monroe County Jail. He has a possibility of being in prison for 11 years.
Threats like this one should be taken seriously. Some of these people may be joking when they say stuff like this. On the other hand though some of them may be serious and we don’t want that. If they pull it off it could be serious. This man should be punished because this is a serious thing he threatened. He threatened to blow up the wing of the school. A fair punishment for him would be about 20 years. There is no doubt that this kid should be punished.
